Traffolyte Engraving Laminates
Dating back to 1927, Traffolyte, sometimes spelled Traffolite, was a common brand name for multi-layered phenolic plastic sheets suitable for engraving to produce name tags, labels and signs.
Fast forward to the 21st Century and the generic name, Traffolyte, is still commonly used, however, with the development of newer materials which have improved material reliability, stability, colour range and applications significantly and the use and applications have expanded.
We frequently refer to our newer stocked materials by names such as Engraving Laminate, Laser Laminate, Ultra Thin, and Laser Tuff.
